    Tools should do the work, not become it

    After years of consulting with companies and teams of every kind, one pattern kept repeating: the tools were either too niche to cover the work or simply bad. Instead of helping teams do what is necessary, they became one more complex problem to solve.

    Kiston comes from "keystone", the stone that locks an arch in place. Our goal is a state-of-the-art set of tools that are easy to use and still powerful, carrying years of knowledge about strategic work, so teams can focus on what matters, align at speed and keep track of the decisions that count.

  2. We want to boil the ocean

    Boiling the ocean is now a strategy

    It used to be a warning: trying to cover everything meant covering nothing. Teams learned to pick their battles, one process and one tool at a time, and to live with the gaps in between.

    AI changes that equation. Work that once took a team weeks, like structuring information, connecting it across processes and keeping it current, can now run continuously. Kiston would not be possible without it. It lets us build all five processes, deeply connected, instead of one niche tool at a time.

    A platform that works while teams work

    Kiston does not sit idle while teams run strategic planning and execution, budgets, forecasts and scenarios, people, portfolios and operations. It collects what happens, organizes and structures it, and makes it readily available to AI.

    In parallel, we are building a deep body of knowledge from years of consulting experience. Together, they let the platform deliver insights at scale that were once reserved for a few: the advice you used to hire a consultancy for, available every day.
